Joe Hendry has made a big splash in WWE over the past year - despite being the TNA World Champion - and it seems Hendry definitely has his fans in the promotion.

Hendry has been a fixture on WWE NXT in recent weeks, and even made a shock appearance at WrestleMania 41 to face Randy Orton in singles competition. Such lofty appearances have led many to assume it’s only a matter of time until Hendry joins WWE, with PWInsider stating it’s ‘pretty much considered a lock by many’ that Hendry will join WWE when his TNA deal expires at the end of 2025.

Backstage, WWE management have been impressed with Hendry’s showings in the company, with his performance in the Mania bout with Orton commended for how Hendry handled such a high pressure situation with very short notice. Hendry is also said to have been given a lot of praise for how he’s taken feedback and advice, and also for his creativity during recent WWE appearances.

Hendry and Trick Williams have been feuding across NXT and TNA TV, with the two set to tangle for Hendry’s TNA World Championship at NXT Battleground on May 25.
