A former TNA star has become ‘All Elite’ after signing with All Elite Wrestling.
Debuting at the AEW Collision tapings on August 14 (to air on August 16), former three-time X-Division Champion Ace Austin made his AEW debut, losing to Ricochet in singles action despite a spirited display. Post-match, AEW President Tony Khan asked ‘The Ultimate Finesser’ if he would like to be ‘All Elite’, with Austin replying in the affirmative and shaking Khan’s hand.
Austin departed TNA in May 2025 after a six-year stay with the promotion, with the former Bullet Club member at one time singled out as a future main eventer in TNA. TNA were hopeful of re-signing Austin to a new deal in early 2025 when news of his contract expiring was made public, but obviously that did not come to be.
With his signing, Austin becomes the third high-profile TNA name to join AEW in 2025, following Josh Alexander, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey. As well as the X-Division Championship, Austin is also a former three-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, having held the straps with former ABC partner Chris Bey.
