Danhausen Yet To Be Assigned A WWE Brand

Danhausen has popped up on both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown since making his WWE debut, and this ultimately reflects the Very Nice, Very Evil wrestler's status with the company.

PWInsider has reported that Danhausen has yet to be internally assigned to a brand within WWE, and he is currently listed as a free agent within the organisation. It is unknown if WWE are planning to book him solely on Raw or SmackDown at some point, but Danhausen floating between the two main roster brands has proven to be popular so far, with fans chanting along to his "You are cursed" catchphrase.

Danhausen's recovery comes after a disastrous debut at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view where he emerged from a box, a spot which instantly drew comparisons to the Gobbledy Gooker both outside and within WWE. Danhausen was initially cheered after emerging from the box but the debut was soon met with silence and then boos.

The debut didn't affect Danhausen's merch numbers and his t-shirts quickly became top sellers at WWE Shop, with WWE said to be pleasantly surprised by the volume of t-shirts sold.

Danhausen signed with WWE upon the expiry of his AEW contract, with reports noting that CM Punk spearheaded WWE bringing in his friend.
