Triple H appeared on the July 27 episode of Monday Night Raw in the opening segment between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, with the WWE chief content officer standing inside the cell with Oba Femi and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
The segment was supposed to feature both Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi inside the cell for a face-to-face ahead of their SummerSlam match, but Brock Lesnar decided not to enter the cell and he just strutted around the ringside area as Paul Heyman regaled fans with Lesnar's accomplishments. Lesnar then sent paid security after Oba Femi, which the 2026 King of the Ring winner promptly took out to end the segment.
PWInsider has reported that Triple H was "very much in control" of dictating what happened during the Oba Femi-Brock Lesnar segment to the point he was calling audibles for Oba Femi while stood in the ring with the former NXT Champion.
The segment was also originally scheduled to take place later on in the show before it was eventually moved to open the show.
Triple H has rarely appeared on Monday Night Raw outside of select segments when he has operated in a Dana White-esque role for weigh-ins, often standing between the two competitors to hold them apart. The WWE chief content officer also appeared at WWE PPV post-shows to discuss what had happened at an event until earlier this year when he cut down on those appearances due to being booed.
