Backstage News On Sinner & Saint's TNA Releases

A tag team departed TNA Wrestling on July 16 after the promotion announced that Sinner & Saint - Judas Icarus and Travis Williams - had been released.

"TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Sinner & Saint, effective immediately. We wish them the best in their future endeavors," TNA wrote.

Fightful Select has reported that Sinner & Saint asked for and were granted their releases from TNA Wrestling. It was claimed the tag team were well-liked and many were surprised they didn't receive more opportunities on TNA TV.

Judas Icarus and Travis Williams signed with TNA in 2024 and they were initially aligned with Josh Alexander in The Northern Armory before they transferred over to Eric Young. Sinner & Saint had seldom been booked by TNA in 2026, though, and they hadn't wrestled for the promotion since a loss to The Hardys on the March 12 episode of Thursday Night IMPACT.

Sinner & Saint have teamed together since December 2022 and they have continued to perform on the independent wrestling scene around their TNA appearances.

Sinner & Saint are the latest talents to be granted their releases from TNA in 2026, following the likes of Steve Maclin, Tessa Blanchard, Myla Grace, and Dani Luna.
