Allegiant Stadium's offer of 25 per cent off WrestleMania 42 tickets over Valentine's Day weekend has failed miserably.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there appears to have been no movement on ticket sales over Valentine's Day weekend despite the lower prices, and the estimated ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 so far are actually worse than first believed. In the new estimate, night one of WrestleMania 42 on April 18 has 35,690 tickets sold, while 36,372 tickets have been moved for night two of WrestleMania on April 19. Compared to the same time in 2025 for WrestleMania 41, this year's edition of WrestleMania is down 17,252 tickets, or 19.3 per cent.
Ticket sales so far for WrestleMania 42 have reportedly been lower than WWE expected, and the company held a multi-department meeting about the situation a couple of weeks ago. At the time, WWE weren't planning to drop the price of tickets, but ticket prices have since been reduced.
The cheapest one-day ticket as of a few days ago was $266 on Ticketmaster, but the cheapest ticket for WrestleMania Sunday at the time of publication was $208, while the cheapest seat for WrestleMania Saturday was priced at $228. A two-day ticket as of a few days ago for WrestleMania 42 began at $738, but the price has now dropped to $392.
The most expensive tickets for WrestleMania 42 have not changed in price. A ticket for the second row on either Saturday or Sunday will cost $16,000, while a two-day combo ticket for the second row is $46,000.
Amidst the disappointment over WrestleMania ticket sales, WWE threw their match plans up in the air. There is now a feeling, though, that the company's television product is not the problem, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
One person near the top of WWE told WON: "The audience is there. Are they inclined to pay ten gazillion dollars for tickets?"
Even if WrestleMania 42's final attendance isn't as high as 2025's WrestleMania 41, the pay-per-view will still end up having two of the biggest gates in pro wrestling history because of the price of tickets. WrestleMania 41 currently holds the record gates in pro wrestling history, with the two-night event bringing in $66 million with a roughly even split across both nights.
