Yota Tsuji has committed his future to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
The reigning IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion announced on X/Twitter that he has put pen to paper on a new contract with NJPW.
"Yesterday, I signed a contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In this SNS-driven information society, don't forget to verify the true essence of things for yourself," Tsuji tweeted (translated).
Tsuji joined New Japan in 2017 as a young lion and he has been full-time in the company since returning from excursion in RevPro and CMLL in 2023. Tsuji is currently the top star in New Japan, having defeated Konosuke Takeshita for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Tsuji then revived the much-loved IWGP Heavyweight Championship and brought back the V4 version of the belt.
Tsuji's Unbound Co. stablemate Drilla Moloney has also committed his future to NJPW, announcing following his match at New Beginning in Osaka that he had signed a new contract with New Japan. Moloney also declared he will be in the 2026 New Japan Cup.
Drilla Moloney has been a part of NJPW since 2023 and he is a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with Clark Connors, who is believed to be on the brink of signing for All Elite Wrestling.
