Dante Chen is another name that is part of WWE's roster cuts in the aftermath of WrestleMania 42. Cory Hays of BodySlam has reported that Chen's exit from WWE was a release.

Chen officially confirmed his WWE exit, tweeting:

"Goodbye and thank you, WWE. 5 years, 147 matches. The list of names of people I want to thank is endless. I am proud to be the first Singaporean-born WWE Superstar, and I hope that inspires everyone that anything can be achieved. Stay tuned. Chen. Now. Forever. Together."

Dante Chen - real name Sean Tan Li Hao - began his pro wrestling career in 2013 and primarily wrestled for Singapore Pro Wrestling as Trexxus until he was signed by WWE in 2021.

Chen made his WWE TV debut as part of the 2.0 rebrand of NXT in September 2021, but he only had 16 matches on NXT TV proper during his five years with the company as he was instead primarily utilised on lesser NXT shows like 205 Live, NXT Level Up, and WWE EVOLVE. He did have a fully-fledged feud with Lexis King in the summer of 2024 which saw King win the programme in a Singapore Cane Match.

Other WWE releases on April 24 includes the whole of the Wyatt Sicks faction, Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, and Andre Chase.
