Following WWE’s Crown Jewel 2026 PLE, the typical post-show was presented to offer up much of the fallout and reactions from the event. Much like many of WWE’s PLE post-shows, we heard from those who competed on the card such as Chelsea Green (who lost the WWE Women’s Title to a Money In The Bank cash-in) and new World Tag Team Champions Penta & Je’Von Evans, among others… but none of this was live.
According to a report from False Finish, all the promos fans saw on the Crown Jewel post-show - aside from the fallout from the main event between Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn - were pre-taped and took place during the broadcast of the show itself. This was to allow crew & talent to pack up and leave immediately upon the end of the PLE.
This comes in the midst of ongoing conflict and tensions in the Riyadh region, which saw travel advice recommending US citizens to steer clear of the area due to threats posed to US interests. WWE took a skeleton crew to Saudi Arabia, with elements such as commentary being produced from back on US soil. There were reportedly talent and crew alike who did not want to be booked for the card or travel to Saudi Arabia, so it isn’t a shock to see things wrap up quickly and for no one to stick around.
