A WWE developmental talent has been given a new in-ring name.

BodySlam has reported that Anthony Luke will no longer be using his real name moving forward, and he will now go by Kam Hendrix. The exact inspiration behind the new name is unknown, but Luke's in-ring name shares a surname with legendary musician Jimi Hendrix.

Anthony Luke was previously a defensive end at San Diego State University, and he was briefly a part of the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League in 2020. Luke signed with WWE after participating in tryouts ahead of SummerSlam 2023.

Luke would go on to make his in-ring debut at an NXT live event in April 2024. He has since been featured on the first two seasons of WWE LFG, and Luke used his new name of Kam Hendrix for the first time at a house show on November 22 where he teamed with Brooks Jensen and Lexis King in a win over Dante Chen, Shiloh Hill, and Drake Morreaux.

Anthony Luke is also the fiancé of WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri.
