WWE Backstage Reaction To Trick Williams & Lil Yachty Revealed

WWE have been using more celebrities and crossover stars than usual in recent months, with the involvement of both Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll causing some frustration amongst fans during WrestleMania 42 season. Despite the criticism, it was reported soon after that WWE were not planning to slow down on celebrity involvement. Post-WrestleMania, one name who has been featured plenty is Lil Yachty, and it has now been learned what those backstage in WWE think about his presence. 

Lil Yachty has served as a manager for reigning United States Champion Trick Williams both before and after WrestleMania, hyping him during entrance, dishing out trash talk to his opponents, taking bumps at the hands of Sami Zayn, and even dressed up as the deceased Gingerbread Man. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE are very happy with both Trick Williams and Lil Yachty.

On the back of his hometown appearance on SmackDown last week, it is noted that WWE were shocked with the large reaction for Williams. In terms of Lil Yachty’s involvement, those backstage in WWE are reportedly impressed with his dedication to the on-screen role he has currently. Yachty previously spoke on fan rejection for his appearances, hitting back at those unhappy.
