One of the biggest talking points ahead of John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. has been surrounding the names that will be in attendance, with two names in particular heavily discussed; Donald Trump and Vince McMahon. With the show taking place later tonight, it is now seeming less and less likely that either of these two individuals will be present.
According to PWInsider, it is noted that no one in WWE is expecting a Vince McMahon appearance, with no plans laid out for him to be in the arena. In the case of Donald Trump, it is also stated that no one in WWE has stated that they specifically expect him to be at Cena’s final match, though there is a chance that other political figures will be there given the location of the event.
It was noted this week that there were “surprises” in store for John Cena’s retirement edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, in addition to the fact that there was no planned runtime with Cena being handed as much time as he wants before hanging up the boots for good.
