CM Punk hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the RAW after WrestleMania 42 where he revealed that he was not going anywhere on the back of his World Heavyweight Championship loss to Roman Reigns. After being announced as part of WWE’s upcoming European tour, it was noticed this week that Punk had been taken off all advertising for the tour and was no longer set to be present.
Reports from both Fightful Select and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter have noted that there is nothing more to Punk’s status other than “scheduling changes”. With speculation on Punk’s potential future in WWE arising, there looks to be little to note from him being taken off upcoming shows both on television and for live events. Punk is still announced for several upcoming episodes of RAW in the United States.
On the back of WrestleMania weekend there was some controversy which emerged about CM Punk, with one fan alleging Punk to have assaulted him, in addition to footage released of another incident in which Punk slapped the phone out of the hand of a fan. In the latter incident, it was revealed that Punk was receiving no disciplinary action from WWE.
