Update On When Bianca Belair Will Make WWE In-Ring Return

A top WWE star could be set to be back in the ring by SummerSlam, which is scheduled for early August at MetLife Stadium.

Bianca Belair has not wrestled on WWE TV since night two of WrestleMania 41 where she faced IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship. Belair suffered several broken fingers in the match, which has kept her away from the ring.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the hope within WWE is Belair will return to the ring by SummerSlam, if not before. Belair was originally planned to be more involved in the issues between Naomi and Jade Cargill following WrestleMania 41 but the injury caused those plans to be modified.

Belair did make a brief return to WWE TV on the May 30 edition of Friday Night SmackDown due to the show taking place in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. Belair was confronted by Naomi, who went on to reveal that she had broken into Belair's parents' home.
