Update On Plans For AJ Styles Tribute At WWE Raw

A few weeks on from his in-ring retirement, in WWE at least, the company will pay tribute to AJ Styles on this coming Monday's episode of Raw.

WWE's flagship show will emanate from the Allstate Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, near Styles' hometown of Gainesville. What exactly WWE will be doing for the tribute to AJ Styles is unknown, but Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that SmackDown wrestlers will be flown to Monday Night Raw for the Styles celebration.

AJ Styles has not appeared on WWE programming since he lost to Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble in a match with AJ's career on the line. The belief as of several months ago was Styles' contract with the company was expiring in February 2026, so he could be set to exit WWE in the near future.

Despite the retirement match, people within WWE believe Styles will wrestle again, and the man himself didn't rule out having more matches following the Royal Rumble.

While he hasn't been on TV, Styles has remained around WWE and he was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, according to PWInsider. Why Styles was at the WWE facility is unclear.
