Update On Ben Bishop's TNA Status Following Bound For Glory Appearance

Multiple debuts took place at TNA's Bound for Glory pay-per-view on Sunday, October 11, including during the Call Your Shot Gauntlet as "Big Trouble" Ben Bishop made his first-ever appearance in the promotion.

Despite the appearance, Fightful Select has reported that, as of Sunday, Ben Bishop had not signed with TNA Wrestling. He did make a good impression on people within TNA at Bound for Glory, however.

Ben Bishop attacked Jada Stone from behind during her entrance in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory and stole her #19 spot in the match, only for Stone to enter the gauntlet anyway and eliminate Bishop with a Hurricanrana over the top rope after around one minute.

Bishop had reportedly been on TNA's radar since 2025 but Tommy Dreamer, who was a key figure in TNA creative until June 2026, was not a fan of his social media videos which often went viral.

Bishop has been a regular performer on the United States independent wrestling scene since 2021. He has also had multiple tryouts for major companies, including with WWE in the summer of 2025.
