Trick Williams 'Feels Like Thanos'

Trick Williams is on top of the world, so much so that the TNA World Champion ‘feels like Thanos’.

The first ever contracted WWE star to hold the TNA World Championship, Williams has aligned with Fir$t Cla$$ to keep the title around his waist and out of the clutches of any TNA contenders. However, Williams feels he’s being unfairly judged, and whilst talking to PWInsider likened his mission to that of Marvel super villain Thanos:

“I feel like Thanos,” Williams said. “I’m collecting my Infinity Stones and trying to bring good to the world. I’m trying to bring good to TNA by gaining exposure, bringing it to our 800,000 fans tuned in on NXT every single Tuesday. We trying to move seats. We try to move tickets, and that’s what Trick Williams does for your brand.”

Despite his affiliations with heels Fir$t Cla$$, Williams insists he is not involved with Dark State:

“The audacity of Ava accusing me of being the leader of Dark State when I got jumped by them… Man, I don’t jump people behind their back. Since I came into this game I’ve never just jumped people from behind. I always make myself loud and clear. I step in the room, I do my entrance, we whoop that Trick, and then I do exactly that,” said Williams.

Williams will have his hands full at Slammiversary on July 20 when he puts the belt up against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana, with Williams having also called out TNA legend AJ Styles for a match.
