The Hurt Syndicate & "Speedball" Mike Bailey Poke Fun At Heat Rumours

Recent reports suggested MVP had heat backstage in AEW, with "Speedball" Mike Bailey a target of MVP’s displeasure. However, Bailey, MVP, and The Hurt Syndicate have had some fun with the rumours.

It was rumoured that MVP outwardly dislikes Bailey for reasons not revealed, and there was frustration over The Hurt Business seemingly turning down planned losses in the company, supposedly at MVP’s behest.

Taking to social media, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, and Bailey addressed the rumours in comedic fashion in a backstage video. In the video, MVP walked up to Bailey and said “F*** you Speedball”, with Bailey responding in kind. Lashley and Benjamin then also sheepishly swear at Bailey after being urged to by MVP.

Reports alleged that The Hurt Syndicate vetoed suggestions to drop the AEW World Tag Team Championships to FTR, with MVP rumoured to prefer his charges dropping the titles to a younger up-and-coming team. Whilst Gates of Agony, Private Party, and The Outrunners have been mentioned, it remains to be seen if JetSpeed fall into that category too… even though The Hurt Syndicate have defeated all four teams in AEW.
