A WWE legend is scheduled to be a part of the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view.

According to WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes Radio, Trish Stratus is scheduled to work Evolution, which will take place at Atlanta's State Farm Arena on Sunday, July 13. The announcement of Stratus' return was originally planned for the June 13 episode of SmackDown, but those plans were ultimately scrapped.

"We are told the return of Trish Stratus is also right around the corner as the announcement of her return was planned and scripted into the June 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. According to a source, the announcement of her return and accompanying graphics were set to air prior to John Cena's second promo of the night. While this plan was obviously scrapped, we are told the return is still on the books, with Stratus set to be a part of the upcoming Evolution PLE," WrestleVotes said.

Trish Stratus has worked two matches in 2025 already, competing in the Women's Royal Rumble before she teamed with Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber in Toronto.

Another former WWE talent who could be brought back for Evolution is Vickie Guerrero, with claims emerging in recent days that Guerrero has been telling people she will be back with WWE "in a few weeks."
