Some Unhappiness Within WWE Over Oba Femi Shrugging Off Bronson Reed's Foot On Raw

The programme between The Vision and Oba Femi continued on the September 7 edition of Monday Night Raw as the King of the Ring 2026 winner tried and failed miserably to make the save for Otis and Akira Tozawa, with Femi ultimately being laid out by Bronson Reed and company.

The post-beatdown celebrations from The Vision saw Bronson Reed place his foot on Oba Femi's back, with the prone Oba Femi suddenly lashing out with his arm to knock Reed's foot away, before the two-time NXT Champion went back to selling the angle.

Oba Femi's reaction immediately fuelled speculation on social media and WrestleVotes on Fightful Select has reported some backstage were caught off guard by the 28-year-old knocking Reed's foot away, and some within the company did not like how Femi reacted to the situation. Reed putting his foot on Femi was not a scripted part of the angle, it has also been revealed.

Bronson Reed made his return to WWE TV on the September 6 edition of Sunday Night's Main Event to take out Oba Femi during his singles match with Bron Breakker. This came after reports that Reed had been earmarked for a programme with Oba Femi.
