After leaving WWE earlier this year, Simone Johnson (FKA Ava) is now working for Seven Bucks Productions, the movie and television production company founded by her father and mother The Rock and Dany Garcia.

"So I work under Seven Bucks Productions now, and I think my official title is junior executive, I believe, which is a fancy way to say that I get to read scripts and take notes and sit in on so many meetings with incredible writers and producers and directors," Johnson said on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes.

"And I feel so lucky. There's so much that I thought I knew about the entertainment industry, and then getting to learn so much more has been so eye-opening. And they're not lying when they say making a movie is the hardest thing in the world. My gosh. Truly."

Simone Johnson was signed with WWE from 2020 until January 2026, when she decided to allow her contract to expire, even turning down a pay rise to remain with the company. Ava appeared on TV initially as a wrestler on NXT before she transitioned to an authority figure role as NXT general manager.
