Season two of WWE: Unreal was released today on Netflix and several scrapped plans for the summer and autumn of 2025 were revealed on the show, including plans for Finn Balor to bring back his Demon persona for a match at SummerSlam.

The series, once again, features the whiteboard used by the WWE creative team to map out plans for upcoming pay-per-views, and a number of nixed matches can be seen, including several matches that didn't end up taking place at SummerSlam in "Demon" Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio, Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker, Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins, Jey Uso vs. Rusev, and The Bella Twins vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.

WWE originally had different plans for the men's WarGames match too as Roman Reigns' team was originally scheduled to include Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu. Reigns would have faced a heel team of Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Solo Sikoa, and JC Mateo.

WWE's original plans for the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring finals were also different from what ended up happening at Night of Champions. Although Cody Rhodes was always scheduled to reach the final, his opponent was set to be Rusev instead of Randy Orton. The Queen of the Ring final, meanwhile, was completely different with Rhea Ripley vs. Giulia pencilled in. The Queen of the Ring final ended up being Jade Cargill vs. Asuka.

In other changed plans revealed on WWE: Unreal, IYO SKY vs. Liv Morgan was planned to be the Women's World Title match at Money in the Bank, while Morgan was also scheduled to face Nikki Bella in singles action at Evolution. Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship also would have been held at Clash in Paris, instead of Wrestlepalooza.
