Rusev Returns At WWE House Show In Hawaii

Back on the July 27 edition of Monday Night RAW, fan footage emerged of Rusev walking to the back quickly after a defeat to Je’Von Evans, prompting questions of why he “no-sold” the loss. It soon emerged that Rusev’s speedy exit was due to the fact that his hand had gone numb, and he was concerned for the injury. After months away from the ring, Rusev is finally back. 

WWE held a house show in Hawaii on October 16, and this show marked the return to the ring for the former United States Champion. Rusev battled fellow Monday Night RAW superstar Joe Hendry, coming up short in their clash.

It was revealed by Rusev’s wife, CJ Perry (known as Lana in WWE) that he had been cleared for action back in early September, with him seen at the WWE Performance Center. However, despite him being able to wrestle for over a month, it has taken until now for his return to in-ring action. It isn’t known when Rusev will make a comeback to Monday Night RAW and weekly WWE programming.
