Wrestlers within TNA and All Elite Wrestling have been reacting to Max Caster's rap from his Bound for Glory appearance, which resulted in Caster's time with TNA being a one-and-done affair.
Fightful Select has reported talent they spoke to within TNA believe the company should accept some of the blame for not running through the rap with Max Caster before he wrestled at Bound for Glory. A few people within AEW, meanwhile, noted to PWInsider that TNA should have known better, but they also acknowledged that Caster tries to be as biting as possible with his pre-match raps.
Within his pre-match rap at Bound for Glory ahead of facing Moose in an open challenge, Caster referenced glory holes, speech impediments, baldness, and airstrikes against Riyadh airport, with the comments about the airstrikes resulting in TNA severing ties with Max Caster, who had reportedly been signed to a per-appearance deal as part of his debut.
Caster's pre-match rap was reportedly not scripted or approved, and the belief was that Caster was given creative freedom for his entrance comments. PWInsider noted it was TNA President Carlos Silva's call to cut ties with Max Caster, with the social media reaction to the pre-match rap being the issue. Fightful reported that everything seemed fine on the talent bus back to the hotel following Bound for Glory.
Max Caster has apologised for his Bound for Glory rap. Max Caster vs. Moose has also been removed from the Bound for Glory replay and any mention of Caster has been scrubbed from TNA's social media channels.
