Report: Order Of Protection Filed Against Keanu Carver By Unnamed NXT Talent

An unnamed NXT star has reportedly filed an order of protection against Keanu Carver.

As reported by POST Wrestling, the unnamed NXT talent filed a petition in Florida alleging that they and Keanu Carver - real name Kevin Robertson - were in a romantic relationship, that ended recently. The petition then alleges that Robertson made a series of unwanted visits to the petitioner’s home in the days that followed, and made unwanted calls to the petitioner, as many as 44 times in one day. The 49-page report filed by the petitioner contains various screenshots of reported calls made by Robertson to the petitioner, as well as stills from a security camera purporting to show Robertson visiting the accuser’s home.

The petitioner accuses Robertson of abusive behaviour during the relationship, with accusations including spitting on the petitioner, physically restraining them from leaving their house, and threatening to kill the petitioner and their cats. The petitioner also accuses Robertson of unspecified drug use.

The petition seeking an order of protection was filed against Robertson on September 14, with a judge granting the temporary order of protection the same day. After a hearing on September 22, the court extended the order through the date of another hearing set for October 20. Court records show that Robertson asked for a continuance so he could obtain counsel. The order requires Robertson to stay at least 500 feet away from the petitioner and prohibits him from having any contact with the person.

POST’s report notes that whilst stalking is a criminal offence under Florida law, there is no word whether any formal charges will be filed, with the protection order deemed a civil matter.

Carver last performed for WWE NXT at a house show on September 12 - prior to the involvement of police in the matter, and the filing of the order of protection. It is not known as of writing whether Carver has been suspended by WWE, with WWE not responding to enquiries regarding the matter. WWE also did not respond as to whether the order prevents Robertson from being present at the WWE Performance Center, the home of NXT television, and where wrestlers train.
