There is an ongoing campaign within WWE for Corey Graves to become a permanent commentator on the main roster once again.

According to WrestleVotes on WrestleVotes Radio, a strong contingent within WWE want Graves to be a regular on the main roster as they simply feel he is too good and too passionate not to be around every week.

WrestleVotes stated:

"According to several within WWE, there is a strong contingency to get Corey Graves on main roster television weekly, regardless of who is or is not available. While several understand the value that Pat McAfee brings to the company, many feel like Graves is way too good and way too passionate to not be on main roster television week in and week out. We can't confirm as of this moment if WWE has any interest in bringing back the old three-man booths for TV or not."

Corey Graves was previously a full-time announcer on the main roster for several years, but he was moved to WWE NXT at the beginning of 2025 as WWE went with the commentary team of Michael Cole & Pat McAfee for Raw and Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett for SmackDown. Graves has filled in for Pat McAfee on Raw since June 16 due to McAfee being exhausted.

Graves has been on the receiving end of praise in recent months, notably for his commentary at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.
