Could there be a surprise appearance in the Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match at WWE SummerSlam?
Night two of SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium will feature a TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships of The Wyatt Sicks vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Street Profits vs. #DIY vs. Fraxiom vs. Andrade & Rey Fenix.
There may be a seventh team in the match, however, as Cory Hays of BodySlam has reported that Matt and Jeff Hardy are in attendance at SummerSlam. While this does not guarantee they will be in the match, Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam noted he was "told to keep an eye on the TLC match." Should they appear, it would be The Hardys' first ladder match of any sort in WWE since they famously returned at 2017's WrestleMania 33.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently a part of TNA and they are the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, having regained the belts in a four-way Ladder Match at Slammiversary. They wrestled on WWE NXT earlier this year, though, through the working relationship between WWE and TNA.
