Nikki Blackheart wrestled her first match for WWE on Tuesday, competing in a dark match ahead of a live episode of NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Blackheart's WWE name was revealed ahead of the dark match and she will compete as Martinez in the company. Martinez is Blackheart's real-life surname. Blackheart picked up the win in the dark match too, defeating Skylar Raye.
Other dark matches ahead of NXT included Kale Dixon defeating Ulka Sasaki, and Hank & Tank defeating Braxton Cole and Harley Riggins. Meghan Walker, Shido Ash & Viktor Zano, and Jessica Bogdanov also cut promos.
It was revealed in March that Nikki Blackheart had signed with WWE after impressing company officials at a WWE tryout in February. Blackheart finished up on the independent wrestling scene by the end of March, dropping the MPX Women's Championship to Priscilla Kelly on March 7 and the CCW Women's Title to Kristin Blaze on March 28 in what ended up being Blackheart's final independent wrestling match.
Nikki Blackheart only made her pro wrestling debut in 2024, but she has faced the likes of Harley Cameron, Abadon, and Aleah James over the past few years.
