It has become an annual occurrence that WWE takes a pit stop in Saudi Arabia for a premium live event between WrestleMania and SummerSlam, and on last night’s Backlash 2025 PLE, a new Saudi Arabia was officially announced for WWE’s upcoming PLE schedule.

Following the recent surprising news of WWE’s Crown Jewel PLE series heading to Perth, Australia rather than remaining in Saudi Arabia, it has been revealed that Night Of Champions will be making its return to the country, after previously being held there back in 2023 in a show headlined by Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, and Seth Rollins being crowned as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion.

The event will take place on June 28 and will emanate from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, as will an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This will be the first time WWE has headed to this venue. WWE’s upcoming schedule sees Money In The Bank take place on June 7, Night Of Champions on June 28, and then the first ever two-night SummerSlam on August 2 and 3.
