The June 30 edition of WWE Raw saw a title change take place, with new men’s World Tag Team Champions crowned.

Multi-time champions The New Day walked into Raw with the gold around their waists to take on the Judgment Day team of JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. Kofi Kingston went to the high-risk district with a plancha but missed, with Balor hitting the former WWE Champion with a Slingblade on the floor. In-ring, McDonagh nailed Xavier Woods with a moonsault before Balor hit a Coup de Grace for the 1-2-3.

With victory, McDonagh and Balor become two-time tag team champions, and the duo celebrated with Judgment Day associate Dominik Mysterio post-win. For The New Day, their 12th main roster tag title reign comes to an end after just 72 days, after Kingston and Woods defeated The War Raiders at WWE WrestleMania 41 night one.

The Judgment Day are certainly gold laden, with the newly won World Tag Team Championships going alongside Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship, and the Women’s Tag Team Championships now held by Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
