Mike Santana Expected Within WWE 'By End Of Summer'

Mike Santana is assumed to be WWE bound following his TNA departure, and ti looks like Santana could be in the promotion ‘by the end of Summer’.

Santana finished up with TNA in early July following Slammiversary, with reports in June stating that the former TNA World Champion was expected to sign with WWE upon the expiration of his TNA deal. A new report from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select notes that a source within WWE would be surprised if Santana ‘didn't arrive to the company relatively soon’, with some in WWE expecting Santana before the end of Summer.

It’s believed that Santana built a good relationship with WWE during his TNA run, having appeared on WWE NXT as part of the working relationship between the two brands.

Santana has officially been removed form the TNA roster page now he has departed for a second time. Originally part of TNA/IMPACT with former partner Ortiz as LAX between 2017 and 2019, the two jumped ship to AEW for a five year run, before Santana returned to TNA in 2024, as a singles act.

Across his two runs in TNA, Santana stands as a four-time World Tag Team Champion, and two time TNA World Champion.
