Max Caster’s AEW contract is set to expire in October 2026, with the former champion on the periphery of the promotion.
Caster has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2020, officially signing a five-year deal with the company in November 2020 alongside former Acclaimed partner Anthony Bowens. Per a report from Fightful Select, Caster’s deal is currently set to expire in October 2026, and no indication has been given as to whether Caster and AEW are in talks over a new deal.
The report noted that Caster has not been seen backstage at AEW events all too often in recent months, and has not wrestled for the promotion at all in 2026. Indeed, Caster’s last televised appearance was during the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal on December 17 2025, coming off a last short final run with Bowens as The Acclaimed.
In AEW, Caster stands as a two-time champion, having held the AEW Trios Championships with Bowens and Billy Gunn - aka Daddy Ass - as well as the AEW World Tag Team Championships with Bowens, the latter run coming as the pair were arguably the most over act in the entire company.
