Mariah May looks to be on her way out of All Elite Wrestling, having been removed from the promotion's roster page today. PWInsider has reported that WWE sources noted over the last week they expect May to start with the company in the near future.
Fightful Select has also noted that Mariah May is expected to join WWE upon the expiration of her contract. May's management noted the former AEW Women's World Champion's contract had not expired as of 1:30 pm ET on May 30, and WWE are claiming no contract has been signed as of yet. Regardless, the expectation is May will be heading to WWE when she is able to do so.
Fightful noted that AEW were "well aware" May would be leaving when her contract expired, while people close to the top of WWE have stated the wheels have been in motion for May to join the organisation.
May has not wrestled for All Elite Wrestling since the Hollywood Ending with Toni Storm at March's Revolution pay-per-view where she failed to regain the AEW Women's World Title. It emerged shortly after Revolution that May was likely on her way out of AEW later in 2025, having signed a two-year deal with the promotion in 2023. Reports noted soon after that WWE were prepared to make an "outstanding" offer to land May.
