Following on from his Super Bowl appearance, some reports revealed that Bad Bunny was on his way back to WWE at some point in the near future. Prior to his Halftime Show appearance, it emerged that WWE had reached out to the music star for a potential match at WrestleMania 42, though it wasn’t known what Bunny’s status for the show was.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that regarding the talks of a potential clash between Bad Bunny and Logan Paul in tag team action, there are no current plans in WWE for a match between the two to happen at this time. Although there is an expectation that this showdown will happen one day, it won’t be in the near future, therefore unlikely for WrestleMania 42.

Bad Bunny was previously rumoured for a return to the ring in 2025 to team with someone to take on John Cena and Travis Scott at the Money In The Bank 2025 PLE, though this never ended up happening due to Scott’s plans for a match in WWE falling through.
