Liv Morgan Undergoes Shoulder Surgery

One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury a couple of weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, landing awkwardly during a match against Kairi Sane. In the aftermath, it was revealed that her injury was a “worst case scenario” as she required surgery. 

As of yesterday, Morgan has officially undergone shoulder surgery with Andrew Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama and is now on the road to recovery. Kevin Wilk, a physical therapist working at Champion Sports Medicine posted to social media, revealing an image of Morgan post-surgery with her arm in a sling, revealing that he was set to aid her across the rehabilitation process.

When it comes to WWE’s plans going forwards, recent reports revealed that WWE had ripped up their original plans for the upcoming Evolution PLE, which would have likely seen Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defend their tag titles against The Bella Twins. Reports also emerged of WWE’s new plans for the WWE Women’s Tag Titles.
