Length Of Cody Rhodes' New WWE Contract Revealed

Should the company not release him during his current deal, Cody Rhodes will be a part of WWE into the early 2030s.

The New York Times has reported that Cody Rhodes' new deal with WWE was a five-year contract extension, meaning Cody is signed to the company until 2031. Depending on when exactly the deal expires, Rhodes will be either 45 or 46 years old when his new contract is due to end.

Rhodes recently revealed that he had re-signed with WWE, noting that he will end his pro wrestling career with the company. Cody is currently in his second run with WWE, having returned to the organisation at 2022's WrestleMania 38.

Cody Rhodes has since cemented himself as one of WWE's top stars and he is a three-time WWE Champion, having held the title for a combined 665 days since he 'finished the story' and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.

While he has been out of the WWE Title picture since he failed to regain the championship from CM Punk at SummerSlam 2026, Cody remains a featured performer on WWE programming in a feud with Randy Orton.
