Kyle Fletcher reportedly won't be appearing on All Elite Wrestling's televised programming anytime soon due to injury.
Fightful Select has reported that Kyle Fletcher has sustained a suspected meniscus injury and he will be on the shelf for "quite some time." Not only that, but Fletcher has reportedly suffered additional injuries which may add time onto how long he will be out of action.
Fletcher suffered an injury on the March 28 episode of AEW Collision when he teamed with Mark Davis against The Rascalz's Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier. Fletcher suffered the injury when his knee hit Davis' back, which caused them both to fall and Fletcher to land awkwardly.
Fletcher was able to finish the match, which resulted in a victory for the long-time tag team partners, but he left the arena in a walking boot.
AEW's plans for the TNT Championship are currently unknown. Fletcher is the reigning TNT Champion, having regained the title from Tommaso Ciampa on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite. Fletcher had also been positioned for a future AEW World Title match through his unhappiness at the Don Callis Family's association with MJF.
