Kevin Nash has denied Bret Hart's claim that Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon were lovers, with Nash believing there is no way such a relationship could have happened without someone finding out.

After being asked about why Bret Hart would make such a claim, Nash said on Kliq This:

"I have no idea. I spent the better part of three years of my life with Shawn Michaels, and I never remember having a double knockout with Vince during any of our travel. The only time I saw Vince was when we were getting ready to strike in Indianapolis.

"Not only would we have known, but there is just no way he couldn't have told anybody. There is no proof. That's when one of those things where you tell a story and say, 'I'm sure.' No, you're not. I think it's in poor taste. I know they're talking about the screwjob, but please, somebody get the f**k over that."

Bret Hart noted during a discussion of the Montreal Screwjob that he believes he was stuck between two lovers in 1997 and that Michaels slept with McMahon to secure Bret's spot as the top star in the World Wrestling Federation.

"When Shawn was in the ring talking about he lost some part of himself or he was going to find his smile, I remember Vince had the tear roll down his cheek. I remember watching it and going I think there's more going on here between these two guys. Honestly, I'm just being honest and blunt, but I suspected and now I really have serious, I think that Shawn and Vince were sleeping with each other. I'm just telling you, I think I'm very close to the truth here. Shawn and Vince were lovers. I'm being dead honest. When I look back, I got caught between two lovers and I got shafted and screwed over. And Shawn was so envious and jealous of my position that he finally had to sleep with Vince to get it. I would say it to Shawn if he was right here. I would actually really like to have Shawn come clean and say, ‘Look, we were lovers.’ Because I’m sure they were. If I saw Vince or Shawn here I would say, ‘I think you guys were lovers,'" Bret said, in part.

Former WWE Head of Talent Relations Jim Ross has also called "bullsh*t" on The Hitman's claims.
