Kazuchika Okada remains the AEW International Champion, but he is not in possession of the physical title belt.
Okada faced Adam Priest in an AEW International Title match on the January 31 episode of Collision, but instead of having the International Championship around his waist, Okada instead carried a belt of some sort covered with a black bag emblazoned with the AEW logo.
According to Fightful Select, this is because the bag containing the AEW International Championship and Okada's gear was lost. How exactly the bag was lost is currently unknown.
This isn't the first time a title belt has gone missing in All Elite Wrestling. Chris Jericho infamously had the AEW World Championship stolen from him just days after he became the inaugural AEW World Champion at All Out 2019. The belt was stolen while Jericho was eating at a LongHorn Steakhouse in Tallahassee, Florida and was returned to him a few days later after being found at the side of a road by a man returning from a day of scalloping.
MJF's Dynamite Diamond Ring also legitimately went missing ahead of All In 2024, with it being used as part of MJF's feud with Daniel Garcia.
