Former WWE NXT talent Jakara Jackson's post-WWE in-ring name has been revealed.
Jackson has updated her X/Twitter profile, confirming that she will be known as Mara Sadè moving forward. The new name appears to be inspired by Sadè's real name of Jamara Garrett.
Jakara Jackson signed with WWE in 2021 and made her in-ring debut as part of NXT in the Summer of 2022. Jackson was prominently featured on NXT TV from 2023 as part of the Meta-Four stable with Noam Dar, Lash Legend, and Oro Mensah. The faction was suddenly split in late April and Jackson was released just days later on May 2 along with former stablemate Oro Mensah.
Jackson and Mensah were 2 of 16 WWE talents released by the company along with the likes of Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler. Shotzi was also informed that her contract was not being renewed.
Jakara Jackson is subject to a 30-day non-compete clause before she is able to perform outside of the company.
