Hulk Hogan has once again been under the knife, with the WWE Hall of Famer undergoing neck fusion surgery.

A report from TMZ Sports states that the controversial wrestling icon had a ‘little fusion procedure’ on May 14 but was apparently back to work the next day. Hogan apparently had the surgery in order to ‘feel a little better’.

This was not Hogan’s first rodeo, with the Hulkster stating in 2022 that he has undergone over 20 surgeries over the course of the past decade, with a back surgery in early 2023 leaving Hogan ‘unable to feel his legs’.

The multiple time world champion recently announced Real American Freestyle, a freestyle wrestling promotion run in conjunction with former WCW Senior Vice President Eric Bischoff and amateur wrestling coach Izzy Martinez. Hogan has lofty ambitions for the promotion, wanting to compete with WWE and UFC.

Hogan’s last major appearance for WWE came at the Raw debut on Netflix in January 2025, with Hogan loudly booed by the fans in attendance. Hogan also recently came under fire for repeatedly getting Shelton Benjamin’s name wrong, with both Benjamin and MVP calling Hogan out for his behaviour.
