Drew McIntyre could be set to become a three-time Undisputed WWE Champion on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

McIntyre is scheduled to challenge Cody Rhodes for the top prize on SmackDown in a Three Stages of Hell match in Berlin, Germany. The first fall will be a traditional singles match, followed by a Falls Count Anywhere match and then a Steel Cage match.

According to BodySlam, multiple personnel within WWE are pushing for Drew McIntyre to defeat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Whether a title change is actually planned is unknown, however.

The Three Stages of Hell match is expected to be over 30 minutes to close out the three-hour SmackDown.

Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes have been feuding for several months, with Irn Dru first failing to win the Undisputed WWE Title at Wrestlepalooza in September. McIntyre then failed to defeat Cody again on the October 17 episode of SmackDown and yet again on the November 1 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.

McIntyre and Cody were then on opposite sides inside of WarGames at Survivor Series, and they have continued to feud since the pay-per-view, which included an angle where Cody tried to invade McIntyre's home.
