Harley Cameron is out of action ‘indefinitely’ after being attacked by Hikaru Shida on AEW Dynamite.
As seen on the July 15 broadcast of Dynamite, TBS Champion Shida put the title on the line against Cameron, picking up the win with a modified bow and arrow lock. Post-match, Shida refused to break the hold and attacked Cameron on the mat, only stopping after being ran off by Queen Aminata.
Later on in the episode, the commentary team noted how Cameron will be out of action ‘indefinitely’, with Aminata set to face Shida for the TBS Title on the upcoming AEW Collision.
There is no word as of yet whether Cameron is taking time away to serve the angle, or if she has been written off AEW TV for legitimate reasons.
Cameron missed time from the ring in Summer 2025, with the former AEW Women’s Tag Team Champion undergoing surgery on her nose. Cameron was written off TV with a similar attack angle leading up to her surgery.
Part of AEW since 2022, Cameron signed a full-time deal with the company in 2023, and has been praised by colleagues and fans alike for her vast improvements in the ring.
