Hangman Page won't be around in All Elite Wrestling, at least in the near future.

Page challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship in the main event of the Revolution pay-per-view. The two competitors faced off in a Texas Death Match with the stipulation that Page would never challenge for the AEW World Title again if he lost.

Page ultimately did lose at Revolution, passing out while MJF choked him with a dog collar as Hangman was dangling over the ropes. Page was then stretchered out of Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles following Revolution, and he was nowhere to be seen on the post-Revolution episode of Dynamite.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Page is set to take time off from AEW TV and it was the active plan for Page to take time off. How long the two-time AEW World Champion will be gone from TV is unknown, with it being stressed by an AEW source that the length of Page's absence was "indeterminate" and it could be weeks or months. Hangman Page last took an extended break from AEW TV in 2024 when he was absent from March to July.

Following Revolution, it was revealed by AEW CEO Tony Khan that the stipulation of Page never challenging for the AEW World Championship again was a gentleman's agreement between himself and Hangman.
