Former WWE Talent Debuts At AEW Collision Taping In Glasgow

A former WWE talent has made their All Elite Wrestling debut, wrestling at AEW’s Collision tapings in Glasgow, Scotland on August 20.

Receiving a hometown pop from the Glasgow faithful, former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn took on Megan Bayne in singles competition, with Bayne picking up the win. This was Dawn’s first televised match since January 2025, with Dawn recently returning to the UK independent scene following her WWE release in February.

Reports in July suggested that AEW were interested in signing Dawn, with the former Unholy Union member having visited backstage at AEW TV tapings earlier this year. It is unknown at this point if Dawn has signed with AEW or if her match in Glasgow was a tryout.

Dawn was previously part of WWE from 2018 until February 2025, having wrestled across NXT UK, NXT, and the WWE main roster. In WWE, Dawn is a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and one-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, having held both titles with former partner Alba Fyre.
