Former NXT Talent's Post-WWE In-Ring Name Revealed

A former WWE NXT wrestler's new in-ring name has been revealed after they officially became a free agent.

Javier Bernal posted a vignette after his 30-day non compete clause expired, with it being confirmed at the end of the short video that Bernal will be known as Javi going forward.

Javi also wrote:

"If you were bullied: Bullied. Didn't get picked. Left out. It's time to stand up. It's to rise. It's to fight. It's to win. It's time to open this pit up. Because I'm gonna make sh*t happen. Follow me wherever I go. Book me if you want a workhorse and a star. [email protected]."

Javier Bernal was released by WWE in early May along with 15 other talents, including the likes of Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler. He had been part of the company since 2021, being signed following a tryout, and Bernal had only been back on TV for a few months at the time of his release. He was out of action from June 2024 to January 2025 with a broken foot.
