First Title Match Officially Announced For WWE Evolution II

A title match has been officially announced for the upcoming WWE Evolution pay-per-view.

A tournament has taken place across WWE NXT in recent weeks to determine who will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship at Evolution. The final of the tournament headlined Tuesday night's edition of NXT TV and Jordynne Grace defeated Lash Legend, Jaida Parker and Izzi Dame in a four-way to become the number one contender.

Grace picked up the win after breaking up a pin from Lash Legend and following up with a Torture Rack Bomb to Jaida Parker for the pinfall victory.

Evolution will be the fourth time Jordynne Grace has challenged for the NXT Women's Championship and the third time she has competed for the belt since WrestleMania 41 weekend.

WWE Evolution will emanate from Atlanta's State Farm Arena on Sunday, July 13. WWE will host three events in Atlanta over the same weekend as AEW All In, including NXT Great American Bash on the afternoon of July 12 and Saturday Night's Main Event later that day.
