Dragon Lee will remain a part of WWE for the foreseeable future after signing a long-term contract extension with the organisation.
PWInsider has reported that WWE and Dragon Lee have come to terms on a new deal and the belief is the luchador put pen to paper on a five-year contract, although that is unconfirmed.
Dragon Lee's contract was scheduled to expire this month and the 31-year-old at least teased having plans outside of the company as he and brother Dralistico trademarked 'Hermanos Lee', the team name they used in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and on the indies in 2022.
Dragon Lee originally signed a three-year deal upon joining WWE in December 2022 and inked a one-year extension in 2023 upon being booked on the company's main roster. Lee has been a featured mid-carder during his WWE run so far and he is a former NXT North American Champion and one-time WWE World Tag Team Champion, holding the belts with AJ Styles. Lee also had one reign with the now-defunct WWE Men's Speed Championship.
In 2026, Dragon Lee has been booked in the Intercontinental Title picture and has unsuccessfully challenged for the belt on four occasions, including on the October 19 episode of Monday Night Raw. Lee has also sporadically been booked in AAA, working six matches for the WWE-owned Lucha Libre promotion.
