Carlito Officially Leaves WWE

During the whirlwind of news over the last two weeks that was R-Truth’s potential WWE exit, fan rejection of the decision to not renew his deal, and his eventual surprise return, news also emerged of WWE deciding against renewing Carlito’s contract too. The now former member of The Judgment Day has now quietly left WWE, revealing on social media that he was now officially a free agent. 

Taking to his Instagram account, Carlito posted an image with the words “Back In Business”, with the caption including hashtags such as “fullyavailable”, “nocontract”, “ready”. PWInsider also noted that Carlito was removed from WWE’s internal roster over the last week and he had now officially parted ways with the company. 

Carlito returned to WWE in 2023 after a successful cameo at Backlash in Puerto Rico that prompted a massive fan response, leading to him re-signing with the WWE and emerging later in the year, joining the LWO faction. He later turned heel and sided with the Judgment Day, serving as a more comedic piece in their group over the last year on Monday Night RAW.
