New details on R-Truth's WWE deal have emerged after the 53-year-0ld shockingly returned at Money in the Bank, one week after he had announced that he would be leaving the company following his release.

Truth interfered in the show's main event, attacking John Cena and helping Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat Cena and Logan Paul.

BodySlam.net noted that Truth's new deal came together at some point on Friday after WWE President Nick Khan reached out directly to the former Intercontinental Champion. Their report added that Truth's new deal isn't a standard active talent deal, but will allow him to have one true final run.

While Paul 'Triple H' Levesque implied that Truth's WWE exit followed by his swift return was perhaps a work, Truth himself debunked those claims, as did his son Christopher Killings.

Truth will be going by his real name of Ron Killings, at least for the time being.

There was a universally negative reaction to the news of Truth's release within the WWE locker room, while fans on Raw and SmackDown chanted 'We Want Truth'.
